Project Topeka and Advisors Excel teamed up to pack 800 Fun Food Friday bags at Randolph Elementary. The bags will provide food for all students over the weekend. See the news story and video in the link above.
In 2024, Topeka Zoo and Project Topeka have teamed up to fight hunger in Shawnee County through various events. Most recently, Topeka Zoo collected over 4,300 pounds of food on August 31 by offering free admission. Also, in June, Topeka Zoo collected another 1,200 pounds of food. In just two events, Topeka Zoo has collected over 5,500 pounds of food. Those donations are making a difference in our community. Thank you Topeka Zoo for you support!!!

Topeka North Outreach provides 500 weekend meal sacks per week to students in Seaman Schools and at Quincy and State Street Elementary Schools.
Linda Kehres, executive director, Let’s Help says the organization couldn’t afford its Food Box program without the support of Project Topeka. The program provides almost 3,600 food boxes a year through Let’s Help’s Emergency Services Department.
